In the Beginning (Bereshiet) Now!

In the Beginning Now is focused on a passionate pursuit of Yeshua HaMassiach (Jesus the Messiah).  We are a truth-based ministry that is focused on all aspects of His Kingdom, including Yeshua himself and the Torah which he lived-out during his time on earth.  We believe that the first four festivals (Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, and Pentecost) of the Lord (Leviticus 23) have been fulfilled in Yeshua’s first coming and the advent of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) in Acts chapter 2.  We also believe that there will be a final fulfillment of the fall festivals (Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Feast of Tabernacles).  We look forward to this time of fulfillment and study all the prophetic signposts.  Jesus (Yeshua) Himself celebrated these appointed times of our Creator, and we actively participate in celebrating too!

We also believe that God has declared the end from the beginning.  Isaiah 46:9-10 states, “Remember the former things of long past, For I am God and there is no other; I am God and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all my good pleasure.’”  This eneregizes us to get back to the beginning of the book now!  He has told us what is to come so that we may carry out His work on earth and prepare for His return.

The first word in the Hebrew bible is Beresheit, which means- In the Beginning.  Through studying the Hebrew language, this word also provides a full picture of God’s plan for mankind through redemption in Yeshua – see Mark Blitz letter Tav video.  There are many Hebrew words that flow out of Beresheit, which describe His thoughts, which are higher than our thoughts.  For that reason, and many others, we find that studying the Hebrew language is of value and profitable for God’s kingdom.  As the bride of Christ, shouldn’t we study the language that God created the world with, as described in John chapter 1?

If you take Bereshiet and divide it into Be and Resheit, you get the meaning- within the Firstfruits.  This has a special meaning in scripture and we strive to be seen as worthy to be called “firstfruits.”  The learning and growing process starts or continues Now!  All are welcome on this journey.  All that is required is a love for His truth.
